Thank you for your interest in working with the Indianapolis Zoo!

The Indianapolis Zoo collaborates with high-quality influences, vloggers, bloggers and more in the Indianapolis / Mid-West region to showcase the institution’s exciting news. Becoming a partner in our content creator program means you are helping us to live our mission of Protecting Nature and Inspiring People to Care for Our World! The Indianapolis Zoo is home to nearly 1,500 animals representing over 200 species. Our vision is that we believe in a world where nature and people thrive, and we couldn’t be happier to partner with individuals who will work with us to proudly extend our mission.

Qualifying accounts, known as Digital Content Partners, receive invites to exclusive media events which include early access to exhibits, events, experiences and more. Partners are also the first to receive the latest news about the Indianapolis Zoo. This program delivers unique content and all the education, entertainment and fun of the Indianapolis Zoo!

Influencers who are chosen to partner with us receive:

Please note that the Indianapolis Zoo is a non-profit organization and that our influencer opportunities are not paid. We ask that content creators produce high-quality engaging content that highlights their visit to the zoo. The Indianapolis Zoo may use and repost content, with credit given to the creator.

Instructions will be provided to influencers, but in general requirements for content are as follows:
  • Photographers – must post a minimum of 3 photos within 30 days of visiting and tag @IndianapolisZoo on social media platforms.
  • Videographers –  must post video within 30 days of visiting and tag @IndianapolisZoo on social media platforms.
  • Bloggers – content must include a detailed blog post, created on your website (500 words + photos) – blog must be posted within 30 days of visiting. Content must be shared across social channels that the creator maintains. Links to content must be shared with the Indianapolis Zoo’s Public Relations team.
  • Influencers – must post 3 – 4 pictures or a video, plus 1 to 2 stories/live updates on their social platforms highlighting their experience. All content must tag @IndianapolisZoo and use the specified hashtags determined by the Public Relations team. Content must be posted within 30 days of visiting. Links to content must be shared with the Indianapolis Zoo’s Public Relations team.
