Sloth Adventure

Experience life in the slow lane — Meet a sloth!

Hang out with one of the Zoo’s most unique animals on this sloth Animal Adventure. Participants in this program will meet and learn about one of the Zoo’s two-toed sloths and have an opportunity to feed the sloth. For animal and guest safety, participants will not be able to hold a sloth. See our frequently asked questions below for more details.

All participants must be at least 6 years old. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a paid adult.

When:

Available year-round during a Zoo visit
3pm Saturdays and Sundays until Sept 2
Sept 2 – Oct 31
- Saturdays at 12:45pm
- Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays at 2:45pm
Nov. 1 – Nov. 22
- Saturdays at 12:45pm & 2:45pm
- Sundays at 2:45pm
Nov 23 – Dec 31
- Saturdays at 2:45pm and 3:45pm
- Sundays at 2:45pm
Additional Sloth Adventures during Christmas at the Zoo:
- Friday Dec 27 and Jan 3 at 2:45pm

Cost:

Zoo members: $54 per participant
Nonmembers: $60 per participant (does not include Zoo admission)
